Sears\Kmart is an American chain of Department stores. From its mail order beginnings, the company grew to become the largest retailer in the United States by the mid-20th century. To increase their consumer base Sears\Kmart is developing Mobile apps for a variety of smart phones. Sears\Kmart Companion involves with the testing of shopping flows within Sears\Kmart along with their mobile apps testing. The mobile apps testing include testing on devices like IPhone, IPod Touch, Android phones & Blackberry devices. The testing of WAP sites includes testing on a wide range of browsers and on the above mentioned devices.

ST Hub project is all about validating sales transactions, when a customer makes a purchase through POS machine, all the transaction details are sent to Queue from POS and from there it stores in another format Queue later all these transactions details are populated by Loader (Loader is a Mainframe Job) in COSA database. Then, there are bunch of other mainframe jobs that sends the data feed from COSA DB2 to Downstream Systems.

Sears Mobile WAP project is all about Testing the Performance of the Mobile Application, when a customer want to makes a purchase through this Application, he should able to search for the product that he prefer to and he should able to add the merchandise to the cart, Sears helps the customer by delivering the merchandise through shipping and Store Pick up and the payment can be made by customer through Credit card or Gift card.
