Moulding and Millwork (Sauder Moulding), Auburn, Washington 2007 to 2008
SERVICE REP- Perform inventory management and merchandising, specifically with the Home Depot. Independently in charge of six stores in the northern half of Washington. Worked with Home Depot associates to move products into sales displays and, using the Home Depot system placed replacement orders. Duties also included new store sets, merchandising displays, monitoring inventory, training Home Depot associates about new products, and gaining store management approval for new orders and displays.
• Was the only service rep selected to work full-time at one store as a moulding specialist. Duties included sales, demonstrations, training associates, as well as my regular duty as a service rep.
• Have also been selected to assist in various other projects, such as new employee training.

LEAD BUILDER – Perform various production leadership, project management, and supervisory functions for this manufacturer of specialty building products. Review daily project blueprints and prioritize according to a variety of criteria. Determine and request appropriate numbers of additional crew members as necessary. Assure all production materials and equipment is in place and appropriately calibrated to customer specifications. Monitor work of other crew members to assure quality and schedule integrity. Serve as primary resource in responding to questions and resolving problems. Regularly train and mentor new employees.
• Was the only Lead authorized to maintain and upgrade production area. As a member of the company’s Safety Committee, I provided input that led to various improvements ranging from equipment positioning to sanitation.
