General Dynamics, Cape Canaveral FL, 9/1999 - 1/2000. Employed as Central Office Technician, maintained large communication frame consisting of BIX, 66, 110, and assorted wiring blocks. Installed and removed numerous telecommunications circuits for the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station supporting $1 Billion Eastern Range telephone and data switching network.
United States Air Force, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, 10/1979 - 10/1999. Installed Telephone Switching System (TOPS) and Public Address System on Cape Canaveral AFS and Ascension Island. Managed 6-man team, traveled to ASCENSION ISLAND to install TOPS, PA system and over 50K feet of cable in the Consolidated Instrumentation Facility (CIF). Effort resulted in completing the project 54 days ahead of schedule, saving the US Air Force 45th Maintenance Squadron over $7K. Deployed on a moments notice in support of Operation DESERT SHIELD. Maintained SL1 Switch and supervised a six-man team.
