OCT 2004 - OCT 2008 UNITED STATES NAVY INGLESIDE, TX
RATING/JOB TITLE: MINEMEN
As leading Petty Officer I supervised and trained 8 personnel in ships preservation, deck rigging and special evolutions.
I was in charge of maintaining high dollar equipment. Such duties and responsibilities kept a billion dollar ship afloat and always mission ready.
I was instrumental in the successful completion of the ships Unit level Training Cycle, which I led and trained an inexperienced deck crew through numerous deck evolutions and ensuring that all evolutions were completed correctly and safely.
In the Mine warfare community with my job skills and knowledge I was able to over come any obstacles set before me from deck seamanship to sweeping a mine field keeping the shores and channel of America and many Middle Eastern countries free and safe.
