Job Profile :

• Maintain the whole network as per customer requirements from RF side and provide

proposal & survey of sites in order to maintain GOS and coverage .

• Cell planning including site identifications, site survey, Search ring identification initial network design, for GSM Network.

• Maintaining Network KPIs, SDCCH Blocking, TCH Blocking, Drop call rate, HO failure & success rate and HO Reversion, etc. Study of Network KPI Reports and optimizing them accordingly.

• Analysis of call drop on day to day basis and resolving the problem of cells having high drops by changing frequencies, replacing the faulty TRU’S.

• Network-Optimization by drive tests, antenna tilts, antenna orientation changes and tuning the Cell-RF parameters.

• Frequency planning including full SFH parameters (MA list, MAIO, HSN), CGI, LAC, Neighbors of new sites so as to make optimum use of frequency and avoid interference using MCOM 4.2.

• Optimization of the network by changing Cell parameters, Orientation & tilting of GSM Antennas for optimum coverage.

• Performing Drive tests and site migrations using TEMS Investigation 7.1.3 (Ericsson) and analysis of RF

drive test data to determine Network problems, poor coverage areas, interference, call drops and handover problems.

• Site Selection for Radio Network Design, which includes for New Towns, Market, and Filling& Capacity Sites.

• Auditing of new sites and verifying the hardware, tilt, Antenna height and orientation according to the planning Database.

• Performing Drive tests for Network planning, coverage related problems as well as at Coverage requirement areas, using TEMS Investigation Tools

• Done drive test using TEMS Investigation for measuring Signal levels and Quality measurements

• Providing appropriate tilts (Electrical + Mechanical) to reduce the interference or Improve coverage Penetration

• Defining the azimuth of antennas
