pipe welding inspection)

JOB PROFILE:

* Having knowledge of IBR (Indian boiler regulations 1950)

* Interpretation of radiography films, according to the codes and

standerds.

* Inspection of the welder qualification test and visual inspection of

welded

joints.

* Testing the Oil and Gas pipe lines for any flaws and cracks, the cracks

would be identified by using Radiography methodology.

* Test the pipes and joints using Radiography Instrument and assist the

juniors in using the instruments.

* Analyze the Flaws and defaults and provide technical illustration for the

testing done on the material.

* Testing the welding joints and defaults in column joints are traced and

marked for further repair or replacements

* Testing the joints, windings, fixtures for leak and manufacturing flows

and

report the same to the technical team.

* Document the flaws and defaults location in the pipes and structure to

the

technical team and assist the team in locating the defaults.

* Grade the defaults according to the size and shape and the damage caused

by it as time elapses.

* Attend Weekly technical team meetings with team members and discuss

the work plan and project planning depending on the time constraints.

* Assist the technical team to grade the flaws and welding joints and help

in

fixing the same with the help of radiography technology.

* Prepare technical reports, data's, for the readings and send it to the

technical team for further analysis.

PROJECTS:

1. Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemical Limited (M.R.P.L) -

Project: Identify Micro size to structural defaults in the Pipeline

and load

Bearing structure.

Responsibility: Test the Material for cracks, flaws and Defaults.

Duration: Life time project.

2. L&T Engineering Private Ltd-

Project:Inspection of the gas pipelines for minor and major defects

Duration: 2009- 2012

3. Nagarjuna Power Plant, Mangalore

Project: Identify Defaults in welding joints

Responsibilities: Test the welding joints and defaults for any micro

size

to nano size cracks. .

Duration: 2000-2025

4. TEBMA- Malpe ship building Yard

Project: Identify Defaults, rust and micro size leaks in the ship body

surface.
