Project Description: Technically, LDAP is just a protocol that defines the method by which directory data is accessed. Necessarily, it also defines and describes how data is represented in the directory service (the Data Model). Finally, it defines how data is loaded into (imported) and saved from (exported) a directory service. LDAP does not define how data is stored or manipulated. It is an existing cold fusion application and redesigning to Java using AIU Frame work.

It provides seamless integration support for any application either CFM or JSP or any other type of application.

This project will cover all necessary work required to amend TS London production systems to allow the longer codes to be processed. In 2006, version 8 of the International Patent Classification codes (IPCs) will come in to force. The new codes will be 2 characters longer than the present version 7 codes and consequently all TS London production systems will need to be amended to accept the longer codes. The new codes will also be retrospectively applied to many backfile patents and millions of the DWPI backfile patent records will have to be updated. The IPC v8 project will include all the work needed to amend the production systems so that they will accept and process the new IPC codes.

Project Description

Regional Events Monitor (REM) is a system for event correlation, threat detection and information sharing - to be used by State and Local First Responders, and other Federal Department of Defense and Non Department of Defense Agencies.

The REM application provides a set of tools and capabilities that link seemingly unrelated event information from different source systems. REM then analyzes this combined data to determine possible threats to the community, and then warn first responders, department of defense and non-department of defense agencies, before a planned act of terrorism or a serious crime can take place. Participating agencies will be able to share, view, enter and act upon the event data, as well as perform queries and reports for analysis.
