Also maintain and break down the Bosch tray formers when switching from 8 packs to 24 packs and make sure the Presto robots settings are where they should be to handle the flow of packets coming out of pouching.

Process all incoming RMA’s / returns from various vendors. Create 'QA hold tags' as needed. Pull kits as well as audit kits pulled by other 'kitters'. Also participate in the daily cycle counts as well as assist in receiving incoming product at Alom. Pull daily orders as well as receive, verify and locate inbound product. Some data entry also. Extensive use of stand-up forklift and RF scanner at Exel. Assist machine operators on the Koppers and Martin DRO-401 i.e. feed paper and change print plates as well as cutting dies on the DRO-401 at Mercury. These were temporary assignments.

Pulling orders and stocking inbound bus parts at AC Transit. Pull, prep, palletize then wrap for next day deliveries of various automotive & marine batteries at Exide. Pull the 'kits' i.e. user manuals, remote controls, batteries, etc. for various models of home entertainment projectors as well as plasma television sets. Document all parts to enter or leave the 'cage' onto bin tags this also includes the days regular received shipments with Runco. Pull same and next day orders for Kuehne & Nagel. Extensive use of RF scanner.

The shipping aspect was pulling, palletizing, blackstrap, wrap, weigh then stage orders of all makes of wood furniture to be shipped that day. Receiving was unloading full containers of sitcom furniture onto pallets, keeping the loads separate from each other, then label and stage loads either in the pallet racking system or on the warehouse floor.
