Selected Experiences

Holcim (January2011 – Till date):

Client : Holcim, India.

Holcim Services South Asia Ltd. is a group company of Holcim. Holcim is the second largest producer of cement and aggregates in the world. Holcim operates with production sites in around 70 countries, with a market presence on every continent; Holcim is more globally spread than any other building materials group. Holcim has workforce of more than 90000 people. In India, Holcim has management Control over ACC Ltd. and Ambuja Cements Ltd.

Workflow developments.

• Implemented SAP Workflow for pricing approvals. This project involves preventive controls and implements workflow for documents listed with Material under priority list. Application documents created with the priority materials listed in it undergoes a pricing check and if there are any discrepancies in the price it goes through an approval process before it gets posted.

• Developed a workflow when a Sales Order Item has been rejected, a work item will be sent for approval to the superior.

• Developed a work flow to manage customer master creation. Once base view is created workflow is triggered. This is part of Web Sales Project.

• Developed a workflow for vendor Invoice Verification. Workflow triggers when invoice is blocked due to price variances. Invoice verification is sent to AP department officer for resolution. Workflow is developed with decision for correction of PO, accepting the existing invoice price or request for approval.

• Created a workflow object for complaints processing escalation for shipping order problem messages.

Project: Implementation of Sales Force CRM. [June ’11 – Sept’11]

Project Description: Holcim uses SAP ECC 6.0 to run their business. They want to implement Sales Force CRM System. Sales Force CRM System need to be integrated with SAP System. This Project involves development of interfaces and SAP PI is used as middleware.

Role: System Analyst.

Responsibility: Technically, I have been involved as the primary SAP Technical Consultant for the project. I have been involved in development of interfaces and SAP PI Mappings.

Project: Web Sales Applications. [Feb ’11 – July’11]

Project Description: An application called Web Sales has been developed with user interface. This has been integrated with SAP ECC 6.0. This Project involves development of interfaces.

Role: System Analyst.

Responsibility: Technically, I have been involved as the primary SAP Technical Consultant for the project. I have been involved in development of interfaces.

• Involved in Web Sales Project.

• Requirement gathering from Core team members/functional team.

• Creating of module estimates and Detail design document.

• Preparing Standards for ABAP, PI

• Peer Code review for the developments.

• Actual Development/modifications of Interfaces, Reports, BDC’s, Smart forms, Scripts, Enhancements and OSS Notes.

• Assigning work to different developers and guiding them.

• Reviewing project specific standards and naming conventions.

• Testing and bug fixing of various objects

Client : Grasim Industries/Ultratech (ABG), India.

Aditya Birla Group (ABG) is the second largest business group in INDIA. ABG operations take place in 25 countries with different fields like cement (Grasim/Ultratech), insurance (Birla Sunlife), telecom (Idea), BPO, software (adityabirla Minacs), retail (More), Hindalco, Adityabirla Nuvo etc.

ABG having Grasim and Ultratech two cement companies which they use ERP(SAP) to run business and business transactions take place in modules like SD,MM,FICO,PP. i2 supply chain management tool is used for supply chain activities.

Project: I2 Supply Chain Management Implementation.

Role: SAP Technical Consultant .

McCormick, USA (October 2006 to December 2006):

Founded in 1889, McCormick is not only the world's largest spice company, but also produces seasonings, flavors and other food products for the entire food industry - from foodservice and food processing businesses to retail outlets.

The objective of the Project is to provide offshore development support for the implementation of SAP CRM 5.0 for McCormick, USA.

Technical Environment: SAP CRM 5.0

Role: SAP ABAP Programmer

Responsibility: I have been involved in development/modifications of Interfaces, Enhancements and OSS Notes

• Designing the changes necessary to customize the SAP system to incorporate new functionality.
