Industries Limited is the largest Primary aluminium metal producer in India.It is also one of the

largest Integrated Aluminium Plant of Asia.

Ensured that safe work practices were followed in the facility.

Performed Shift breakdown maintenance supervision on Green/Baked anode and

anode stub casting with Copper rod manufacturing units on the work of the electricians.

Provided necessary technical support for electrical systems.

Managed the manpower,equipments & materials.

Identified the cause of dysfunctional equipments and resolved them.

Coordinated with the production department in working of the project.

Coordinated with the outside vendors on various technologies.

Electrical Technician- Carbon Plant Shift Maintenance

01/2009 - Present

Sohar Alunimium has a new AP36 smelter technology and 1.2 km longest pot line in the world

smelter. Company certified by ISO 9001,9002 and 18001.Carbon plant is organised with Rod

shop. Paste Plant, anode Bake Furnace, fume treatment center,Hot Bath Processing Plant. All

area electrical breakdown maintained in shift.

Trouble shooting of PLC syetem-AB Controllogix 5000 series,AC Drives AB 4/70/700

series,Haslar weighing controller.

Fault finding & Repairing of MF induction furances,P&F conveyor system, EOT cranes like

FTA,Stacker-Make ECL,Heating/blowing ramps,elevators,hoist and conyeyors to meet the

continous production.

Reporting the hazardous field situations and replaced the damaged component to meed the

factory safety standard.

Involving in the installation and repair of any of a variety of electrical equipment such as

Motors, control panel,various field devices like proximity,level sensor,temperature

switches,pressure switches,safety limit switches,photo sensor,radar level sensor,PLC

controller, AC drive & SMC controllers,safety relays, contactor,isolator/breaker to maintain

continuous production operation.
