PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Sr. System Lab Administrator - Verint Systems Inc. - Roswell, GA (March 2003 – Present time)

 Install and configure RAID/SCSI array hard drives.

 Diagnose and configure TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, SMTP default gateway and DHCP Server issues.

 Back up all productions servers utilizing VMware and Acronis software.

 Configure network cabling and KVM to run under raised tile flooring.

 Maintain and configured network settings on blade servers to logon to the domain.

 Create proper ghost, altiris or Acronis boot disk for servers.

 Configure barracuda website firewall 660 for the application systems team.

 Ensure Macfee enterprise agent and Macfee virus scan have the latest dat file.

 Maintain the 2003 Active directory, NT 4.0 domain and Acronis image servers.

 Create Active Directory domains, usernames, passwords, permissions and groups

 Install dialogic cards, memory, hard drives, network cards, CD drives, video cards etc.

 Install and configure VMware ESXi 4.0 to reduce operating cost in the Engineering lab.

 Back up all critical data on all Hewlett Packard Proliant DL380 G4 production servers.

 Resolve issues of adding a server to the domain or any authentication errors on the domains.

 Install Tripp lite uninterruptable power supply on critical servers that require power at all times.

 Resolve connection issues for remote employees trying to access servers in the engineering lab.

 Add Intel and Xeon processors to servers and replacing fans attached to the motherboard of servers.

 Install network cables from the network card to under the raised floor tiles to the Catalyst 3750 Series.

 Setup the network aspect/drives of a 16 node EMC cluster and utilized the jcentera verify tool to ensure network connectivity

 Resolved remote end-users technical problem over the phone and via expert city.

 I introduced and setup the ghost software to the IT dept. which decreased OS and application from 8 hours to 10 minutes.
