Project Description

RxCLAIM is supported by four key areas: Product Delivery, Client Delivery, and Release and Configuration Management. Each team has business analysis, developers, testers, and project managers to assist them in delivering what they need.

Product Delivery

Product Delivery is the team that creates the new products needed on RxCLAIM – these tend to be the larger projects with revenue projections. Product Delivery has created Medicare Cash Card, Separate Network Pricing, Point of Sale Rebates. All of Product Delivery personnel report up to Tom Burbeck.

Client Delivery

Client Delivery consists of several different carve outs; they key component here is that all client delivery work supports, well, a specific client or group of clients. Client Delivery is made up of the following groups, all of whom report up through Catherine Brenneman:

• Client delivery, still sometimes known as “TPC” work (Technical Prioritization Committee – an old term): If an existing client wants a new report or an adjudication change, it gets done under this group.

• Maintenance of business / business operations: Supports the business areas of RxCLAIM in enhancing the system to make it more efficient to use. Also does a lot of regulatory and SOX work.

Configuration and Release Management

Configuration and Release Management personnel report up through Cheryl Higgins, and do the following:

• Configure the plethora of RxCLAIM environments and models

• Install code

• Manage change requests

• Complete regression and end to end testing

SYSCO Canada uses Order Writer application, a package bought from Access International and customized over the past 10 years. SYSCO Canada wanted to replace their current Order Writer application with the SAM & RIO suite of applications due to various pain points in their current system. This project involved developing interfaces between IDS and M2K environment so as to implement SAM application at SYSCO Canada and develop/Modify IDS programs.
