PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
I have worked within the security installation sector since leaving the armed forces in 1994. I have been employed at all levels within the industry from technician to director. I have thoroughly enjoyed working at every level and enjoy the day to day interaction with the customers and other employees within the companies in which I have been involved.
I have received a vast amount of knowledge both technically and within the everyday administration and management of a company. I am very reliable and feel that I would be a great asset to any company that I join and enjoy new challenges each day.

1987 Left School at Age of 16 to join Army
1987-1994 School of infantry Warminster (Armed Forces)
Various dates between 1987-1994 O.N.C electronics, Fault Finding to circuit board level and team leadership During the time spent at the school of infantry the I was trained to O.N.C level to carry out electronic repairs and to maintain A communications network within the regiment and departments I was attached to. As the various courses progressed I became a team leader controlling my own detachment and was trained in the making of critical decisions sometimes in difficult and stressful situations.

Engineering Director
My responsibilities involve the day to day planning and running of the Engineering Jobs. This includes booking in and planning the installs and service works, ordering the required equipment, training and housekeeping of the engineering staff, dealing with customers from point of initial survey to completion of jobs. Obtaining and maintaining company accreditations.
Recent Projects worked on include the design and project management of the new Cardiff city stadium and the Glamorgan records office. I have also taken on projects to build 2 Cctv monitoring stations in Wales which included the design and build of the IT interfaces

Concept Fire and Security 2005-2008
Engineering Director / Project Manager
My role involved everyday running of the engineering and day today running of the company. As a share holder I was involved in most major decisions involving the company and personnel and often stood in as the main decision maker when the managing director was away. My Role at Concept was a multiple role which also included project management of installation projects from the point of design through to commissioning and handover.

• Was highly involved in helping the company achieve its first Million pound target
• Played a major part in helping the company win large contracts e.g.: McDonalds, coca cola
Integrated security systems Ltd 2001-2005
Director
This was a company set up by myself to Sub-contract to the national companies within the security and fire industry. I was responsible for the everyday organization of maintaining works for myself and other contractors working for me. I ensured the company always stayed within credit and when decided to close the company due to personal reasons ensured no debtors were left.

• Understanding of the financial commitments and requirement of a company
• An understanding of the importance of the customer from point of initial enquiry to completion

NTL cabeltel 1998-2001
Cctv Team leader – Project Manager
I was approached by ntl to help set up a CCTV installation and maintenance department. My role was to involve Project Managing and leading a team of ntl cable engineers to install CCTV and fiber networks within town and city centers. Some of the projects my team was involved in were Barry town Center system, Penarth town center system, Cardiff University, Caernafon and Bangor town centers.

Other Employment
My other employments from leaving school in 1987 included serving in the Army (1st Battalion Welsh Guards) through to 1994. I then worked for an alarm installation company called ATI for just over a year until the company had to make cut backs. Then proceeded in working for IDS Security Systems in Cardiff until being approached by NTL.
