Broad Background in Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) documents, Specsintect, Cost Estimating, contract documents for Department of Defense Design Build projects, as well as a broad background in Educational facilities, Institutional buildings, Administration buildings, Industrial facilities, Wastewater treatment facilities and school dormitories.

Department Of Defense Facilities

Child Development Center—I was the Project Manager in charge of a team of consultants and Contractors for the design and production of contract documents for a 12,916 SF, $4.6M, Child Development Center (CDC) for the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station military personnel. The facility was a one-story CDC to support 112 children and provide them and their families with the quality of life requirements for military personnel assigned to Yorktown. The project provided integrated sustainable design strategies and features to minimize the facilities energy consumption; conserve resources; minimize adverse effects to the environment; and improve occupant productivity, health, and comfort.

Police and Security Operations Facility-- I was the Project Manager in charge of a team of consultants and Contractors for the design and production of contract documents for the Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek to provide a (20,570 SF) Police Facility, Vehicle and Operational Storage Building (1,560 SF) a bicycle storage and maintenance shop, and a kennel building (3,088 SF) to house the base’s Military Working Dogs and handlers. This project has been certified LEED Silver by the USGBC.

Additions to Regimental Headquarters—Camp LeJeune, NC, I was the Project Manager in charge of a team of consultants and Contractors for the design and production of contract documents for three Design Build facilities for the Marine Corps at Camp LeJeune, NC. The three facilities are identical one story buildings incorporating Sustainable Design features to achieve a LEED Silver rating by the USGBC.

Building 1660-Phase 2-- Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, I was the Project Manager in charge of a team of consultants and Contractors for the design and production of contract documents for the Phase II renovation of a two-story dormitory. The facility was completely renovated to include roof, windows, finishes, doors and mechanical systems to provide a more energy efficient facility. I coordinated the work of the Design Build Team.

Partial Demolition of Building LP-23 and Relocate Environmental Lab & PWD Pest Control—Norfolk Naval Station, Norfolk, VA. I was the Project Manager in charge of a team of consultants for design and production of contract documents for the demolition of Building LP-23 and the relocation of the Environmental Lab to building LP-24. I also coordinated the work of the Design Consultants to provide the client with an efficient new Lab and four (4) Pest Control facilities.

Educational Facilities

Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia. I was the Project Manager in charge of a team of consultants for the design and production of contract documents for a seven-story women’s dormitory. Coordinated the documents produced by the civil, structural, and mechanical/electrical engineers. As, Project manager, I supervised the construction administration of the dormitory.

Office Buildings & Industrial Parks

Pinners Point Interchange – Tunnel Support Facility, Norfolk, Virginia. I was the Project Manager in charge of a team of consultants and Contractors for the design and production of contract documents for an administration building, emergency vehicles building, fuel service island, and a wash rack.
