Project Title : Network Security Using Firewall.

Description:

With rapidly growing interest in the area of internet communcation in recent years, there has been a great threat to organisation private network from intruders. We used Stateful Firewall to protect the private network. The Objective for the Stateful Firewall is to prevent unauthorized users from accessing computing resources on a private network and often to prevent unnoticed and unauthorized exchange of information. We have designed the Firewall by designing the GUI for it & incorporating Intrusion Detection, port scanning in the project.

Software Type : Java Programming Language.

Attending all the calls coming to NOC and providing telephonic support to users.

Troubleshooting the logical and physical problems of WAN.

Configuration, troubleshooting & maintenance of RF point to point and point to multipoint links.

Axis Bank is having 14 HUB locations with 1000+ branches, 120 extension counters and 300 ATM centers working on ISDN or Lease Line.The system is having primary link as Lease Line and backup media like 64Kbps Lease Line or ISDN or VSAT (PAMA & TDMA) or combination.

Doing Kick of meeting with Customer making him understand Project Plan and Project Schedule & after taking his feedback submitting Final Project Plans and deliverables.

Troubleshooting the logical and physical problems of WAN.

Capacity planning for Network Devices & IP address design of new branches.

Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of Cisco Routers (3600, 2600,1800 and 1700 series), Cisco Layer 3 Switches (6500 series) & Layer 2 Switches (2900, 3500 series).
