The process is Asynchronous and message driven (through file adapter). As soon as a request is received, the required interface tables are updated (Through DB adapter) and the request is passed to the Mediator (publish and Subscribe) this in turn calls Spring Bean a java program to interact with business tables to update the customer details. MAC is a generic capability, which means it interacts in a similar way with all the components via webservice interface developed in OSB, which receives the request via ‘web service proxy’ and then route it to the respective core workflow. Hence OSB transform, route and encapsulate the core workflow.

Complex core workflow holds the business logic, which involves Business validation, verification, Filtration, sorting, calling intermediate end system or downstream system and so on… This implementation is done in BPEL.
