Projects Details

Projects #1: NetApp, (QC Site admin)

Project involves Working as Site Admin for Mercury Quality Center for NetApp.

Project is of Administrating the Tools used in Software Development Life Cycle. This includes the administrative support for three tools i.e. Quality Center, QC PUSH (Automation & Reports) Team and Burt (Defects) project where we provide full support for Normal cases and 24*5 for Urgent/Critical issues.

Role Description:

- Analyze the technical Issues raised by the Users.

- Worked on installation and upgrade of QC from QC 9.2 to ALM11

(In Development and Staging server)

- Customization of Modules in Quality Center.

- Interaction with the Client and stake Holders as per the schedule.

- Generating Usage Report.

- Responsible for solving Integration issues of Quality Center with BURT & PUSH Tools.

- Defining the Workflow in requested project of Quality Center.

- Maintain/enhance QC configurations to support all phases of testing, including requirements tracking

Projects #2: GE HealthCare (QC Site admin)

Project Description:

Project involves Working as Site Admin for Mercury Quality Center for GE Healthcare. Mercury Quality Center provides a web-based system for automated software quality testing and management across a wide range of application environments. Played a main role in the project Esig conversion in stage and production and also in QC validation. Using SA API and VB script and excel macro created some tools for automation purposes.

Role Description:

- Analyze the technical Issues raised by the Users.

- Worked on installation and upgrade of QC from QC 9.2 to QC 10 and usage of Quality Center

- Worked on customization of the workflow code according to the requirements of the clients or Users.

- Worked with the integration of tool like QTP with Quality Center.

- Installation of truly tested patches in development, stage, production environments.

- Execution of tests in the test environment to ensure the correctness of upgrade as per the system test plan and system test cases.

Project #3: GEHC BA COE Regression Testing

Project Description:

GE Healthcare uses Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle) digitizing manufacturing/ distribution/ financials operations. GEHC has got various Oracle functionalities (manufacturing/ distribution/ financials) implemented in several of its production Oracle instances (GLPROD, BIOPROD & PRODERP). In addition to this, GEHC also executes several releases throughout the year for each of these Oracle instances. A regression testing team is maintained to execute the test scripts for production functionalities to ensure that they are not affected before release and production changes are moved into production environment.

Role Description:

- Execution of all test cases (automated & manual) via Quality Center, including tracking results via Test Lab for each test cycle.

- Capture all defects in Quality Center, and report to appropriate owner for resolution.

- Participate in knowledge transition of project teams to acquire knowledge of new test scripts that need to be tested in future changes.

Project Description:

Implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM) framework for GE Healthcare’s Global IT organization. Change Management is a collection of workflows for controlling, requesting, provisioning and tracking Changes to the IT environment, built using HP IT Governance (ITG) tool. Application Portfolio is an inventory of more than 3000 applications managed by the IT organization and is implemented in HP ITG. This inventory holds business critical application data like application name, ownership, Regulatory Compliance (GxP, SOX, and Data Privacy etc), Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity, Service Level Agreements (SLA) etc. Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) is a data store of Application, Server, Database, Change and Problem information and their interrelationships. This homegrown tool is built using: Vignette Portal Platform for User Interface, Oracle database and Informatica interfaces from various source systems for Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data into the CMDB.

Role Description:

- Testing of Change Management, Application Portfolio and Configuration Management database project releases.

- Change Management: Involved in testing of workflows, approvals, notifications for the multiple request types viz. release cycles, full cycle and standard repeatable activities

- Application Portfolio: Involved in testing of workflows, approvals, notifications for the multiple request types viz. adding a new application, modifying and deleting an existing application.

- Configuration Management Database: Testing of Informatica interfaces, simple/detail search, and canned/customizable reports in the user interface.
