Pre and Post sale of company products line application support. Field of work includes responsibilities of particle inspection scanner and interferometer metrology systems. KLA-Tencor products: AWIS, FIT, WaferXam, WaferSight1, and WaferSight2

Pre-sales Responsibilities:

• Hold a key role in design verification tests crucial for the first three stages of the Product Life Cycle.

• Help develop and maintain Factory Acceptance Test documents.

• Perform routine burn-in tests (clean-room) and data analysis (off-line) and provide tool reliability feedback to engineering and marketing.

• Conduct customer demonstrations including system setup, recipe creation, data analysis, and report generation.

• Prove correlation between instrument platforms and tool matching.

• Support sales representatives and product marketing with technical information.

Post Sales Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the tool as it proceeds from integration through qualification to shipment.

• Travel to customer sites and carry out proper tool installation and final sign-off.

• Organize, carry out, and report the progress of tool installation (Customer Acceptance Tests) and investigations for broadcast to both internal and external customers.

• Manage a small installation team typically including a systems engineer, a mechanical engineer and a service engineer while at customer site.

• Study and control measure to improve process yield and throughput for customers.

• Maintain a working knowledge of industry standards used to inspect wafers.

• Conduct training, education and assistance to fellow team members within the company, and for customers and partners.

• Work closely with customers to analyze applications in the wafer manufacturing and semiconductor industry.
