• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (1997 – 2000), from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
DEVELOPMENT GEOSCIENTIST From July 2008 to Present
GEOPHYSICST, RELIANCE INDUSTRIES LIMITED, MUMBAI, INDIA
• Presently, working as Development Geoscientist (Geophysicist), in a multi disciplinary team, with Geologists and Reservoir Engineers, for to dissection of the reservoir properties and with Drilling Engineers, to develop new drilling locations, for to intensify the production of producing field.
• As part of team member, sucessfully carried out and succeed different tasks, within time and have a good exposure and expertise on integrated seismic evaluation and interpretation studies on the different producing fields, focusing on refining the structural and stratigraphic framework, identifying and delineating further development opportunities
• Highly competent user of seismic data interpretation, time depth conversion techniques and mapping software and well versed with advanced interpretation techniques using seismic attributes and mapping of petrophysical properties using multi seismic attributes, for further demarcates of the Reservoir.
• Demonstrated profiency and capable of independtly mapping, of reservoir property estimation methods and techniques (quantitative AVO/AVA analysis, Seismic Facies Analysis (Neural Network), Seismic Modelling and Inversion) and contemporaries of RTI (Rock Trace Index) volumes, for further sorting of reservoir.
• Conducted core laboratory procedures and measurements, and Created petrophysical property models based on core-to-log data transforms, and a working knowledge of incorporating petrophysical models into geological models to develop an integrated characterization of a reservoir.
• Ability to design wells and evaluate targets, that meet both geological and drilling criteria, for to opt better targets and plan more effectively and, to iteratively develop and fine tune the well planning in geoscience domain, contributes and participates in internal peer reviews and management presentations.
CONSULTING GEOPHYSICIST From Dec 2005 to May 2006
QC GEOPHYSICST, PAN INDIA CONSULTING PVT LTD, NEW DELHI, INDIA
• Worked at PAN INDIA ARCHIVAL CENTER, ONGC, NAVI MUMBAI, INDIA as Quality Control Geophysicist to Undertake up QC Jobs and ensure whether the archieved data is properly recorded with its header or not.
• Simultanesouly, trained in Seismic data proceesing with GEOCLUSTER
CONSULTING GEOPHYSICIST From March 2005 to Oct 2005
GEOPHYSICIST, UP CONSULTANTS LTD, NEW DELHI, INDIA
• Worked as Geophysicist with Up Consultants ( For Geofizyka Torun, Poland) for the big 2D-3C onshore seismic project, of Cambay Basin, India.
• The survey was carried out by multi-component recording unit (with) I-O Four Seismograph, followed by data processing and interpretation of Seismic data, prior to conducts weather layered corrections, noise analysis and participates in designing the seismic acquisition plan.
• Subsequently, I was involved in jobs like, Pre-processing, Statistic & Dynamic Corrections and Velocity Analysis at the Processing and Interpretation Center of Geofizyka Torun, Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
• The study area lies in the central part of Cambay Basin, India, where exploration encounters many challenges. Complicated geological structures, variable P-wave velocity change in sand versus shale in Older Cambay units, poor (lower) seismic resolution and S/N below Kalol formation, amplitude and frequency attenuation due to the presence of overlying coal seams created imaging problems associated with P-wave seismic data.
GEOPHYSICIST From July 2003 to March 2005
JUNIOR OBSERVER, SHIV-VANI UNIVERSIAL LTD, NEW DELHI, INDIA.
• Worked as Geophysicist (Junior Observer) with Shiv-Vani Universal Limted for a 2D onshore seismic project, of Assam Arakan Basin, India.
• Conducted seismic survey using the state of- the-art technology equipment of Seismographs ARAM ARIES and SERCEL (SN 388), about 400 GLKm of seismic data has been acquired and also conducted Uphole Surveys in geologically and logistically complex areas, of Assam Arakan Basin.
• Actively involved in, coordinating the movement of shot-hole drilling rigs along with accessories from shot point to shot point, checking of geophones /cables and trouble shooting and solving, the other field logistical problems.
• Before acquisition of Seismic data, handled Gravity, Magnetic, and GPS Instruments for pre survey exploration and exploitation activities and designs the survey of acquisition field.
GEOPHYSICIST From May 2003 to June 2003
JUNIOR OBSERVER, JAK’S ELECTRONIC SYSTEM LTD, HYDERABAD, INDIA.
• Worked as Geophysicist (Junior Observer) with Jak’s Electronic System, Hyderabad; which conducts resistivity surveys on contract basis for Irrigation Department, Andhra Pradesh, India in several districts, for a period of 3 months.
• Coverage of about 200 GLKm, with a closer sampling of 100 mts was done by me in an area, which was logistically challenging and a very hostile forest terrain with difficult subsurface conditions as well.
