• Led team of 32 engineers’ spread across USA and India to streamline the product Design History File and CAPA (Corrective

using ‘Agile’/Scrum project management methodology.

teams at four global locations in USA, Israel, Netherlands and India to execute this project; next gen product is expected to

generate 28+ million dollars over next 3 years.

• Streamlined customer patches release process to deliver software in timely fashion to boost customer confidence in product,

• Defined engineering process to trace product defect and requirements from User requirements and defect tracking tool to source

code control. This process was picked as best practice for defect resolution by GE Global Audit Control auditor.

Senior Engineer – Technical Lead Role Jan 2004 – Jan 2006 Mt Prospect, IL, USA / Bangalore, India

• Led a team of 5 developers in India to deliver breakthrough PACS SE Project. The Goal of this project was to reduce base cost &

service cost of the product to compete in medium segment market. Redefined the PACS architecture to reduce hardware, software

and service cost by more than 70%. The components for this product were mainly written in C++ on Linux platform. PACS SE

team received best team award at prestigious GE Healthcare Technology banquet.

• Collaborated with HP & EMC vendors to formulate the low cost solution. Presented PACS SE prototypes to higher management

& successfully piloted prototypes at customer site in Dixon, IL multiple times to understand and gather feedbacks. Worked

closely with design team in India to incorporate feedbacks into final product.

• Worked in Netherlands with the local team to integrate the RA600 print functionality with Centricity PACS backend to leverage

Intel platform based hardware. The goal of this project was to save on the hardware cost of Solaris server based print solution.

Design Engineer – Individual Contributor Feb 2002 – Dec 2003 Mt Prospect, IL, USA / Bangalore, India

• Re-designed and developed 2.1 DICOM Print Server to improve availability from 60% to 99%. This product was written in

C++ on Solaris platform.

• Worked with field engineers around globe to eliminate customer complaints and implemented new feature to improve

customer confidence in DICOM Print Server product leading to substantial improvement in market share.
