• I am skilled in all aspects of power engineering (includung supervisory. In my previous roles as shift engineer I supervised as many as 14 Power Engineers in various steam and power plants).

• Employed with North Star Cement as lab quality control tester preparing and testing the various materials used in cement manufacture, 1970 - 1974
• Worked at Bowaters Nfld Pulp and Paper Mill – 1975 - 1980 – in all aspects of power engineering operations including power boiler operation, water treatment, demineralizers, deaerators, pumps,watersupply systeme, turbogenerators. While in this capacity I gained experience as a shift engineer, conducted plant efficiency tests and calculations etc.
• Worked at B.C. Timber in Prince Rupert, B.C. as a shift engineer in a large double recovery power plant which included recovery boilers, power boilers, turbines, evaporators, recaust, kilns, turbo generators, and power distributions systems. Directed the operation of 14 power engineers on shift while in this capacity - 1980 – 1982.
• Worked for Technical sales in computer and electronics repair. 1983 - 1990
• Operated a personal business involving electronic repairs, computer programing and networking systems 1990 - 1999
• Returned to Corner Brook Pulp & Paper as a 2nd Class Power Engineer and worked in all aspects of engineering at Kruger Pulp and Paper including but not limited to operator, water treatment analysis and shift engineer directing plant operations on a 12 hour shift schedule. 1999 - 2008
• Took a position as a Power Engineer Instructor at the College of the North Atlantic – 2008 to present instructing students in a 4th class power engineering program. (present position still held. During this tenure I have worked in teaching, course develpoement, safety programs, including first aid, whmis, confined spaces, lockout, H2S etc.)
