Process Engineer

• Cost estimator for major projects from Military to Commercial. Responsible to provide quotes for CNC mill and lathe work including all cycle times, outside process services, equipment requirements including quoting machine cell cost. Review RFQ with sales and management to verify quote or no quote. Performed re-quotes by using existing cost and cycle time that was collected and recorded in a shop management system program, Vista by Epicor. Supplied information, in the form of a bill of material, to purchasing concerning materials, castings, forgings, heat treat and any outside service for pricing. Kept a file of current quotes and assisted sales with follow up of the quotations with direct contact with the supplier, when necessary. Worked to improve processes, balancing lines, doing time studies in the effort to maintain stability of the process and reduce cycle time. Worked with sales to visit customers for rush jobs. Worked with finance to review and maintain cost parameters.

• Process engineer that includes all APQP for projects that were landed. This included leading all phases of the program from cradled to grave.
