The ASR/TFAS Writer (ATW) is a module within the BCS Provisioning Platform (BPP). This module has been designed and developed to assist the DCS ACCUNET and Frame Relay work centers with their ASR and TFAS provisioning processes, related to the provisioning of T1.5, T45 and OCX services. ATW will create and release ASRs (for T1.5 and T45 services) and create and refer TFAS tickets (for T1.5, T45, and OCX services).
The main features are
ATW will run in the background ATW will receive orders from the BPP Service Selectors. This will allow orders to be processed upto 2 days earlier.
ATW will complete and release ASRs for T1.5. In combination with running in the background, this will enable ASRs to be released to the Access Provider upto 2 days earlier than the current process and reduce the workload on the Assembler. [This applies to Local Channel (LC), and Coordinated LEC and non LEC provided access (AL) orders].
ATW will reserve a CFA and create (but not release) an ASR for the following access arrangements: Coordinated Local Channel Plus Reconfigurable Arrangement (AR), Coordinated Local Channel Plus Static Arrangement (AS), Local Channel Plus Static Arrangement (LS), Local Channel Plus Reconfigurable Arrangement (LR)
