Comprehensive experience in the construction and operation of Grain Processing Facilities and Power Generation Facilities. Majority of experience lies in the combined cycle, simple cycle, fossil fuel and nuclear facilities.
Experienced in residential, commercial and industrial electrical wiring, repair and maintenance, as well as analog, pneumatic and direct digital controls. EXPERIENCE
I have held the following positions on many large-scale mechanical construction projects, including but not limited to: fossil fuel generation stations, co-generation stations, combined cycle generation stations, nuclear generation stations, grain processing plants, chemical plants, gas liquefaction, herbicide plants, pharmaceutical plants, food product plants, equipment manufacturing and other industries.
Project Manager/Mechanical Superintendent: Manage subcontractors, create and update production schedules, meet with customers, Architects/Engineers and review changes, manage multi-crafts personnel and issue and manage change orders.
Project Controls/Scheduler: Fluent with Microsoft Project and Primavera P3 & P6 scheduling software, Primavera Contract Manager as well as SAP.
QA/QC Manager: Fluent with ASME Sec I, IX, 31.1, 31.3, BPE & VIII Div 1 & NBIC codes of construction. Create, assign and update welding procedures, field inspection and verification, travelers, set parameters for thermal heat treatment and machinists, prepare and complete 3 year reviews and welder qualification tests. Create and manage weld maps, heat maps and slope maps etc.
Mechanical Estimator: Assemble T&M, T&M not to exceed, lump sum, cost plus bids on mechanical and structural projects. Fluent with Quick Pen and Wendes mechanical estimating software as well as manual estimating methods.
Field Engineer: Field layout and verification of mechanical systems. Create and submit isometric drawings to engineering and shop fabrication. Create detailed construction drawings from equipment drawings and P & IDs. Fluent with Auto-CAD and COADE software.
Instrumentation Foreman: Installation, calibration & start-up of pneumatic and direct digital controls.
Fabrication Shop Foreman: UA fabrication shop foreman specializing in industrial piping, structural steel, tanks & pressure vessels. Responsibilities include ordering and tracking materials and consumables, equipment purchasing, reviewing and breaking apart drawings for fabrication.
Certified Welder: SMAW, GTAW, MIG, Orbital TIG & Orbital MIG Certification’s
Certified HVACR / CFC Technician: UA certification of CFC qualification. Install new and repair existing commercial and industrial HVAC&R equipment.
