• Certified by the Quality Assurance Manager for SPAWAR to conduct a 5day /40hr Connector Termination/Fabrication and Repair of Connectors Course IAW MIL-STD-2003-5A, MIL-STD-2042A and NAVSEA STD Item 009-73 for all personnel as necessary to include off site locations.

• Create internal audit checklists to ensure uniform quality of product throughout the department.

• Provide analysis for product changes or problem areas in order to reduce defects or provide continuous product improvement.

• ISO 9901:2001 Registered.

• Counsel on specific job related policies and procedures to include: Code of Ethics, Lean Six Sigma, Harassment, Means of Evacuation, Equal Opportunity, dress codes, safety and environment

• Maintain production control records utilizing the C4ISR Portal, employee timesheets, personnel files, employee annual reviews and attendance records.

• Provide spreadsheets for consumables, parts, test equipment and tools necessary to sustain the Fiber Optics Dept. and the Connector Fabrication/Repair course.

Lead-in/Gun Cable Repair Technician

Job duties include:

• Spooling and evaluating cables in for repair.

• Following procedures and wire diagrams for fiber optic crimp and lead soldering terminations.

• Continuity and OTDR trouble shooting to make a diagnosis for repair.

• Conduct tension testing and pressure testing up to 3,000 psi.

• I have been certified by DUNLOP to mount couplings on flexible hydraulic hoses in accordance with DNV/SC 2.9/5-791.70 as of Dec. 05, 2006.

• I have also maintained a position in the production department involving the on-going production of solar panels.
