Project Description - DuPont founded in 1802 and operating in more than 70 countries is a science company. It offers a wide range of innovative products and services for markets including agriculture, nutrition, electronics, communications, safety and protection, home and construction, transportation and apparel. DuPont and Convergys Corporation signed a contract under which Convergys provides comprehensive Human Resources (HR) transactional services to DuPont’s 60,000 employees and 102,000 retirees in 70 countries and 30 languages around the world.

I was part of the SAP LSO core implementation team as a Sr. HR Business Analyst/Functional Consultant. As part of the implementation I contributed to the following.

1. Contributed in the due diligence by conducting initial discovery sessions and artifact collection.

2. Defined the global business processes for learning.

3. Lead the Business Requirements gathering, consolidation and harmonization workshops. Developed the final Business Requirement Documents.

4. Developed the global workbook for supporting learning processes.

5. Lead the initiative of designing the global course catalog along with qualification mapping.

6. Developed the Methods and Procedures to enable the service centers to support global processes.

Project Description

SAMREF is an equally owned joint venture between Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) and Mobil Yanbu Refining Company Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation). It is one of the leading oil refineries of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SAP LSO was implemented as part of its IT team’s initiative to upgrade the existing SAP Functional modules. I lead the team to implement SAP LSO which replaced the existing SAP Training and Event Management module. I was also part of the implementation team which implemented OSA in Samref.

I lead the implementation starting from the discovery to Go-live. Some of the major activities performed during the implementation are as follows.

1. Facilitated the discovery session using a Learning Questionnaire.

2. Performed the functionality gap analysis of SAP LSO and Training and Event Management.

3. Reviewed and streamlined the existing business processes related to SAMREF Training and Career Development team.

4. Lead the Business Process and Blueprint Workshops and consequently developed the Solution Blueprint to capture the future state of the training.

5. Defined the content development and publishing strategy for e-learning content development.

6. Performed the necessary configuration for SAP LSO in the back-end R/3 and in Enterprise Portal.

7. Lead the Train the Trainer sessions to train the T&CD consultants.

8. Lead the UAT and internal testing of SAP LSO.

Currently, I am working as a SAP HCM Sr. Consultant for Ananth Technologies with primary area of focus in SAP Enterprise Learning. In my current role I lead SAP Enterprise Learning implementations starting from Due diligence to Production Support. I also lead activities related to pre-sales, product development and product review/research related to SAP LSO. Provide inputs in initiatives for developing tools and standardizing processes/documentations related to implementations.

Functional and Business Analyst

The last assignment in Convergys I worked as a Functional and Business Analyst for DuPont HRBPO implementation. I lead initiatives to define and harmonize global learning processes, design a global course catalog in SAP LSO, define Methods & Procedures to support the global processes.

Solution Architect

During this role in Convergys, I provided technical consulting for LMS and e-learning implementations. The Role provided me an opportunity to implement diverse flavors of LMS and e-learning implementation. I lead assignments which were standalone LMS implementation to implementations which required complicated integration between two applications/systems.

• Analyze clients’ business requirements and architect solutions to address the requirements.

• Drive each phase of e-learning implementations from a technical consultant point of view.

• Collaborate with Visual and Instructional Design team in designing learning solutions to identify learning needs, address learning needs through products/solutions, and help organization in evaluating Leaning ROI.

• Designed and implemented the integration between JP Morgan Chase’s Enterprise Portal and Convergys’s Learning Delivery system. This enables seamless launching and tracking of Convergys hosted e-learning content through JPMC’s Enterprise portal.

• Lead the integration of Deutschebanks’ internal Learning Management System with Convergys’s Learning Platform (i.e. L5).

• Was awarded Start Achiever of the Month for my contribution in designing the content publishing process for DuPont implementation. The new process decreased the effort by 70%.

• Contributed to the development of an assessment engine using OOPs concepts. The engine supported Randomization, Question Pools, Question level Tracking and Feedback, Flexibility for UI and functionality customization.
