ACHIEVEMENTS
Commended by Management for contributing to the design and development of the Boeing 777 Systems Integration Lab Alternate Power System.
Developed accurate operational and checkout procedures, functional test procedures and systems users guide for the Alternate Power System. This technical documentation included:
• Reviewing existing functional test procedures and interfacing with engineering to determine the type of tests to be performed
• Researching and investigating older airplane electrical systems to determine the similarities and differences between the old and new system
• Interfacing with engineering to obtain electrical wiring diagrams so that the appropriate test points could be identified
• Writing and editing the technical document to its final stage
Developed a new accurate Certification Test Procedure for the Boeing 777 Systems Integration Lab Alternate Power System.
Researched policies and procedures regarding certification testing of airplane electrical systems in a lab environment. The issues investigated included the type of tests to be performed, who shall perform the test, the responsibilities of the Designated Engineering Representative, etc, which lead to the technical document development.
Identified, documented, and purchased an appropriate Alternating Current Power Source to be used in a Lab environment
Prepared and documented an AC Load Analysis showing airplane electrical loads such as window heat, cooling fans, passenger lighting, etc. Did research and interfaced with vendors and suppliers to identify, document, and purchase the appropriate AC Power Source that would provide the required total AC power based on the AC Load Analysis. Developed operational procedures for the selected AC power source.
Reduced Engineering Production Drawing Errors by a considerable amount.
Reviewed and evaluated production drawings to insure they were accurate, reliable, and complied with engineering and drafting standards.
Supervised tests for new Electronic Hardware. Verified the safety and reliability of the hardware. Kept Airforce customers informed.
Developed reliability test documentation to verify correct operation of new electronic hardware.
