Senior Product Verification Engineer

3G protocol stack Non Access Stratum conformance Testing - 2Yrs

The project involves thorough verification, debugging and validation of ETSI MCC160 test cases onto Anite’s U-HT and SAT platforms.

Contribution:

• Knowledge of 3GPP Release 99, 4 & 5 specification, 3G Architecture and NAS layer protocols

• Periodically verifying latest version of TTCN from 3GPP website on Anite linux and windows platforms.

• In case of issues with NAS test cases(65 TC’s), providing solution like – Prose CR draft to Anite, TTCN CR, failure analysis of the problems

• Running 200 TC’s manually and Automatically

• Development of GCF low priority test cases on Anite platform – includes 3GPP test specification study, TTCN development, CRs on Prose/TTCN when required during development, execution of developed TTCN on Anite platform with commercial UE.

• Providing revalidation logs to Anite for GCF revalidation list

• Impact analysis of CRs submitted on 3GPP reflector from other SS manufacturers, UE manufacturers, network vendors etc. Activity includes analysis of CR document, implementing/verifying CR correctness by testing on Anite platform; this is prior to approval of CR on 3GPP reflector.

VOIP system – 1.5Yrs

One of the pilot projects in the Enterprise Network division to interface small capacity of VIOP (BCM) system with the existing larger M1 VOIP network. The challenge of this activity is converting existing M1 system to CS1k system with the new hardware and configuring system with VOIP and ISDN protocols, upgrading the CS1k system on availability of the new release and to make sure that VOIP and ISDN call and feature operation between the systems.

• Systems were configured to provide wide range of different connection (Voip trunks and Digital trunks)
