REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE
• TechniGraphics Systems, Inc. Fort Collins, CO. Performed raster feature analysis, raster feature extraction, database management, QA/QC procedures and creation of metadata for GIS firm working on a Department of Defense contract. Obtained Secret Clearance.
• Hermosa Sanitation District GIS Implementation Durango, Colorado. Performed a GIS needs assessment and created an implementation plan, and geodatabase design for utility system data. Populated database from existing sources and a comprehensive GPS survey of existing utility geometry using a Trimble Pathfinder ProXH and ArcPad.
• Mountain Studies Institute Alpine Lake Analysis Durango, Colorado. Provided GIS systems support to the director of MSI to build a GIS database of alpine lakes in the San Juan mountains to be used to perform spatial analysis and correlation to a chemical profile for each lake. Work included creating a project plan, client meetings, data collection, data entry, spatial analysis, and cartographic design.
• GeoCommand Development Project Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Worked as part of a software development team to build a VB.NET/ArcObjects mobile mapping application. Activities included UI development, test plan creation, application testing, bug tracking, customer support, GIS database development, and application documentation.
• Durango West Metropolitan District #2 GIS Implementation Durango, Colorado. Performed a GIS needs assessment and created an implementation plan, and geodatabase design for utility system data. Populated database from existing sources and a comprehensive GPS survey of existing utility geometry using a Trimble Pathfinder ProXRS and ArcPad.
• Purgatory Metropolitan District GIS Implementation Durango, Colorado. Performed a GIS needs assessment and created an implementation plan, and geodatabase design for utility system data. Populated database from existing sources and a comprehensive GPS survey of existing utility geometry using a Trimble Pathfinder ProXH and ArcPad. Imported, rectified, and incorporated AutoCAD data from multiple engineering companies.
• Saratoga Lake Bathymetry Mapping Saratoga, New York. Supported a custom ArcPad application to collect real-time differential GPS positions and SONAR data for bathymetry mapping. Created updated bathymetry data and maps. This application allowed Aquatic Control Technology to make treatment recommendations based on the location of surveyed weed beds and the new bathymetry data. Provided ongoing GPS data collection and data processing support to Aquatic Control staff members.
• Rural Planning Institute Durango, Colorado. Developed transportation model to aid in Fiscal Impact Analysis of additional vehicle trips per day due to the rising population of certain counties in the state of Montana and based on multiple growth scenarios.
• Red Cedar Gathering Durango, Colorado. Acted as sole contact to provide GIS Systems Support for entire Gas Gathering Company. Performed a Data Audit of all digital data (CAD, GIS) for conversion from CAD to GIS for the Gas Gathering Company. Migrated CAD data into an enterprise GIS. Designed Database model based off of Red Cedar’s personal needs. Providing GIS & GPS Support & Training.
