CAREER SUMMARY
A journey through recovery from codependency and process addictions began in 2004 and included support groups, individual therapy and group therapy. This journey resulted in a transition from a career based on a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration to the preparation for the heart’s desire, a passion for addiction counseling. An outpatient treatment program that included criminal justice populations.
Responsibilities included screening, intake, orientation, assessment (ASI), treatment planning, educational and process group facilitation, case management, crisis intervention, random drug testing, discharge planning, referral, record keeping and consultation.
