Responsible for all maintenance and development of AS400 based ERP system (HSP) that handles all job costing, purchase order, accounts payable and general ledger functions for Technical Olympic including their Homebuilding, Title, Insurance and Mortgage divisions. Managed a development staff skilled in Oracle, Essbase, RPG, SQL and Visual Basic who was responsible for the creation and maintenance of a wide variety of relational and multidimensional databases used in decision-making at all levels of a $1.5 billion retail organization. Handled the performance, tuning and sizing of all data sent to the Datamarts from JDA and Lawson ERP files residing on four AS400 servers and two RS6000 servers, storing over 5.5 terabytes of information. Maintained Essbase multidimensional databases used to track all aspects of business for over 200 stores and two Regional Distribution Centers operating throughout the United States. Disseminated Business Intelligence data reporting to corporate employees using the following OLAP tools: Showcase Analyzer, Analyzer for the Web and SPSS Enterprise Reporting.

Provided data to store managers and field agents via a secured connection on the World Wide Web. Created inventory model in Essbase that compared inventory values for an entire fiscal year at a Store/Subclass level from both our General Ledger and Retail Systems using SPSS Warehouse Builder ETL tool. Wrote audit process that identified variances between Oracle Arthur Allocations Database (Unix based) and JDA Retail system (AS400 based) that writes correcting entries on a nightly basis to keep systems in sync. Built Open to Buy system that allowed Merchandise Buyers and Planners to interactively project inventory levels at Sub-department level while instantaneously rolling those numbers to the Department, Category Business and Division levels, allowing executives to rapidly implement company Open to Buy strategy. Provided training on a Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced level to corporate employees on the use of Showcase Query, SQL and Essbase interfaces.

Responsible for Logical and Physical data modeling using Erwin for database modifications to insure both the business and technical needs of all projects are addressed. Performed as Technical Project Manager of company conversion from Legacy Systems to the JDA Retail Management DB2 system.
