Sales Manager- Foundry Products & Distribution

• A home based position responsible for all of North American sales which includes developing/maintaining/growing a territory of over $8 million annually to aluminum foundries and distributors for aluminum master alloys, hardeners, grain refiners and specialty Aluminum alloys. This position was created as a means to increase sales/margins in a market that was previously not managed thoroughly.

• Responsibilities include:

• Direct Sales- Champion sales efforts with major foundry clients that are better served as a direct customer of KB Alloys.

• Distribution Structure- Ensure the current network of distribution channels is capable of serving the market with KB Alloys foundry products.

• Distributor/Agent Training- Develop and conduct distributor training to ensure that KB Alloys foundry products remain in the forefront of the distributor arsenal of products that they represent.

• AFS Liaison- Act as the corporate representative for KB Alloys within the American Foundry Society to maximize exposure and influence pertaining to research projects, seminars, and trade expositions.

• New Product Development- Explore and expand the product offerings through new ideas and derivative modifications of existing products to continually differentiate KB Alloys as the market leader within the industry.

• Market Trends/Competitor Analysis- Perform market research studies to support business initiatives into new product development.

• Managed approximately $40 million in annual sales of aluminum extrusions and forgings for use as automotive components while continuously increasing sales and profit margins. During this time, was able to increase sales by over 50%.
