Established and maintained various types of plates for Pressroom, including polymer, paper, polyester, and metal plates. Provided professional support the Bindery/Finishing Department in order to address workload goals utilizing extensive array of mechanical equipment and hand tools. Facilitated the QA/QC Departments with regard to in-process and final inspections, as well as packing and shipping paperwork. Provided professional support to the Customs Department in proofreading proofs of catalogs for accuracy of knowledge. Functioned as technical interface between the Pre-Press, Pressroom, and Order departments. Authored time management schedules for Holiday staffers to reflect actual business needs in place of standard hours.
Highlights:
- Constructed quality control fail safes within Pre-Press to lessen plate errors, enhancing the overall quality with decreased negligible errors from 9.6/1000 to a record low of 2.67/1000 within the department.
