Position: Shipping

When hired by ABS the plan was to use the extensive experience in Shipping and Receiving to create a Warehouse shipping foreman's position within 6 months.

Responsibilities:

· Certified Forklift operator

· Palletize, Shrink-wrap and load trucks according to order of delivery sites.

· Shipping/Receiving Wood, Metal and Prehung doors completed by the production lines.

· Work with specialized sizing, out of the ordinary styles, decorative, double hung doors, windows and a variety of other materials.

· Established layout of materials, palletized, organized and set up loading in order of shipping locations for proper and timely delivery.

· Load products into 53' trailers for shipping to Lowe's stores.

· Stage areas according to deliveries for the day. Prepared next day deliveries if material was available.

· Verify correct product is being palletized and loaded by work order or invoice.

· Inventory Control

Responsible for preparation as stated above loading products for 42 stores located within AZ, NM and TX

Position: Shop Foreman

Hired on at Pima Door as a jamb prep and door nailer. Within short period Warehouse responsibilities included:

· Shipping/Receiving products and Quality Control

· Certified forklift operator

· Unloading incoming material such as doors, shelves, windows etc.

· Ordering interior and exterior doors and maintaining inventory of stock.

· Loading and stacking pallets with material to make ready for shipment.

Shop Foreman.

· Inventory and quality control

· Distribution of work orders to the proper departments.

· Organized and checked housing packages to insure orders were correct.

· Scheduled, distributed and prepared orders for different workstations and deliveries.

· Supervisory position called for employee write-ups including tardiness, misconduct and other infractions for personnel file, as well as evaluations.

Supervised full crew at old location, during move to new location still in set up process, responsible for:

· Stack and strap material, as well as prepared machinery to be relocated.

· Load material on trucks and transported to new location.

· Continued to work with customers, vendors, while stocking products to fill orders for walk in customers

During "slow down time and before layoffs" in the industry, additional responsibilities included:

· Shipping / Receiving products and Quality control as Shop foreman responsible for 27 workers.

· Pull orders for machining

· Kept running inventory for plant supervisor, while maintaining all other operations, as well as my regular duties as Warehouse foreman.

Came in early every day, handing out paper work to other employees - unloaded/loaded customer’s trucks waiting prior to regular business hours. At end of day, would be asked to pull a "will call order" for customers who came in late. Willing to put in the time needed to get the job done.

During slow times kept things running efficiently in the warehouse to the best of our ability, with the number of people we had left and the hours that had been cut. Successfully, was able to do this in a timely and satisfactory manner under the circumstances.
