Project # 1 eCL framework component development

Duration: Feb 2012 - Till Date

The e Common Libraries (eCL) provides a standardized approach for developing J2EE-based middleware applications to connect to RBC’s legacy backend applications.

As a part of the development team I was involved in:

Creating a Mega Jar which contains the frequently used candidates in a single jar component.

Analyzing and Fixing bugs related to eCL framework.

Creating Peregrine ticket for analyzing the bugs created in eCL framework

Writing Tester class using Junit for which are all the bugs planning to deploy for release.

Responsibilities:

Analysis of code and providing solution to issue or new enhancement based on the requirements provided.

Implementing code changes based on the analysis report and approval from RBC.

Using Hudson process to build Mega jar library.

Unit & Regression testing, Debugging, Bug Fixing.

Project # 2 Notification Service Specification

Duration: Dec 2010 - Jan 2012

Working on eCl Framework (Customized RBC framework). The aim of this project is to send notification to client whenever the client made changes in their Banking accounts. Almost twenty consumers using NSS to send their customized notification to clients. Two different approaches are to send notification (Real time & Batch). Real time is used to send Notification to 25 clients at one transaction. For bulk message transaction, consumers will use NSS Batch application. Batch will send at a time 1 million notifications.

As a part of the development team I was involved in:

NSS Real time, Batch , Metrics, Statistics application.

Loading Message template content to Database.

Processing Batch JCL in Mainframe to send Notification.

Updating new consumer in NSS Metrics, statistics application.

Creating Activity Record to deploy templates to Production environment.

Responsibilities:

Implemented Real time application using eCL Framework.

Worked with Clients for different issues, while using our service.

Build and deployment.

Project # 4 Employee Maintenance System

Duration: Nov 2009 – Feb 2010

Employee Maintenance System Website serves as an access point for Admin Staff of a company. It helps to add a single employee detail, bulk upload of employee details from a CSV file, search employee details based on some criteria, view & modify the search results. The search results exported to excel file or xml file.

Responsibility:

• Involved in the Requirement Analysis & Design

• Development Work: Implementing the search module which searches employee details based on search criteria.

• Created the Web Page for the search module using JSP.

• Test Case preparation and execution.

• Involved in the integration of the different modules into a single application.
