PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2008 - 2011 Ameren Energy Recources/ Ameren Illinois Saint Louis, MO
Mechanical Career Engineer
Worked as a mechanical engineer/team leader on major critical projects and repair work during the power plant outages in Ameren’s power plants in the state of Illinois.
Worked 2 years as a start-up and Commissioning test engineer at Ameren’s Coffeen Power Station for the WFGD (Wet flue gas desulfurization) project- (A $631.2M project.). Responsible for all aspects of the start-up and commissioning activities including the P&ID’S, alignment of the rotary equipment, proper operation of the pneumatic and Motor operated valves, pipe lines .
Worked directly with the construction team engineers and contractors during the construction stage to insure a successful and safe start-up and reliable operation of the equipment.
Successfully performed start-up and commissioning activities for the following equipment: 2 Air Compressors, air driers including the control and Instrument supply air lines, service air lines, 5 Oxidation Air Blowers, 13 Oxidation Air Agitators, Fire Protection Systems for the entire system, Hvac systems for the entire project. (Total capacity of the drive motor of the rotary equipment I was responsible for was 25,000 HP)
After completing this project, I was selected to support a similar WFGD Project at Ameren’s Sioux Power Station.
Worked as a mechanical engineer on the Cyclone Replacement Project at Coffeen Power Station.
