JOB TITLE: CONCERT COORDINATOR YEARS EMPLOYED SEPT. 2002

THROUGH MAY. 2006

ASUR Social Affairs at the University of Redlands

Responsibilities and accomplishments: I contacted bands and negotiated with them in contracts and dates for their performances. I coordinated with the university in preparation for the concert events such as reserving the venue, setting dates and time of the event, and cooperated with the venue in setting up for the concert as well as selling food and drinks. Once I turned 21, I had the full responsibility of checking ids for selling beer with Bon Appetit’s supervision. I had the privilege of networking with bands and I still continue to promote some of them today. Along with coordinating these events, I also was in charge of promoting not only the band, but the event itself. I passed out flyers, posted bulletins, announced the event on the University Radio Station, and advertised off campus as well.

I focused the majority of the show on playing music solely from local bands to assist in promoting them.
