DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

▪ Participated in every phase of design including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding, construction administration, and move-in coordination.

▪ Developed preliminary cost estimates, specification manuals and architect’s punch list.
▪ Complete AIA forms for addendums, architect’s supplemental instructions, change orders, proposals requests, construction change directive and request for information.
▪ Attend weekly construction meetings.
▪ Developed building code analysis and reports on ADA compliance.
▪ Reviewed and approved shop drawings and contractors’ pay requests.
▪ Reviewed bid proposals and made recommendations on contractor selection.
▪ Conducted construction site observations and site surveys.
▪ Eagerly served as lead architect on several highly technical design projects for computer data centers.
▪ Responsible for assisting contractor with obtaining building permits, and completing self-certification documents.
▪ Traveled nation-wide to lead the effort to manage the construction administration phase for our national accounts.
▪ Significantly enhanced construction document process to maximize productivity, efficiency, quality and profitability.
