PROFILE

For the last fourteen years, I have built a good knowledge base and reputation in the service of endoscopes mainly in the field of medical endoscopy. I am familiar with Pentax, Olympus and Fujinon products and have experience working with customers directly in hospitals, for a small company and within service teams of large companies. I have updated my skills as new products come on the market and have been involved in staff training. Working in Poland, Germany and Ireland, I have also had the opportunity to travel and develop my language skills. Having a long- standing interest in photography and engineering, i am ideally suited to this profession. I am reliable, able to work well both as part of a team and under my own initiative.

Repair of Pentax flexible medical endoscopes. Our current team has gained recognition for improving both the efficiency and quality of repairs significantly and I have been involved in the training and mentoring of new staff. Independent Repair consultant, Olympus Poland, Katowice, Poland 2002-2007

Worked independently, representing Olympus in hospital settings to service and repair Olympus endoscopes, liaising directly with customers, medical teams and with Olympus head office. INTERESTS

I learned basic black and white photography as part of a Community Education project for teenagers when I was 13 yrs old and have continued this interest since. I now enjoy using a digital SLR camera and am learning to use photoshop software.

As a teenager, i also learned to play the electric guitar as part of a similar Community Education project and was in a band in the late 1980s with some friends. Nowadays, I still enjoy playing and going to concerts.

To keep fit, I cycle, swim and enjoy hill-walking occasionally. I also enjoy motorcycling and travelling, and would one day, like to combine both and get a group of people together to travel Route 66.
