OBJECTIVE

To carry out tasks on aircraft in accordance with relevant maintenance and service manuals. Primarily to gain hands on experience to become a fully-fledged Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Completed EASA B.1 & B2 modules and looking forward for the license.

Successfully completed a course on instruction A320-200 General familiarization Course at ADAT from 18th July 2010 to 26th July 2010.

Completed two years Theory phase of Aeronautical Maintenance Technicians Course in Air Frames and powerplants at Asian Aviation Centre, Ratmalana Airport, Srilanka from January 2003 to June 2005.

Successfully completed a National training course in Non-Destructive testing Magnetic particle testing Level (1) held at Atomic Energy Authority Sri Lanka from 9th to 19th February 2004.

PROJECT CARRIED OUT AS A PART OF COURSE WORK

Textron Lycoming 0-235L2C engine overhaul in accordance with Lycoming overhaul manual.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Working as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in ADAT (formally GAMCO) from 29th January 2007 up to date.

Responsibiliteis

*Gaining access to all the areas of the airframe and power plant, using AMM,

Routing work cards and other data from a computer data base.

*Reading and understanding work assignments on routine, non- routing cards

and service bulletins.

*Servicing Gearbox, Screw jacks, Torque limiters and Shock absorbers of the

Flap and Slat drive systems in accordance with routine trend monitoring

program and AMM data.

*Replacement of Flight control Servo control from Aileron, Elevator and

Rudder systems.

*Strip and rebuild of Flight control mechanical components.

*Entry to fuel tank following AMM and company procedures, sealant removal,

replacement of fuel tank and observing close up procedures.

*Replacement of wheels and brakes, carrying out bleeding and functional checks

of brake systems.

*Servicing and filling of hydraulic reservoirs and accumulators.

*Servicing and filling of Engine and APU oil storage systems.

*Servicing and filling of landing gear shock struts.

*Working 12 hours a day 16 days per month covering 192 hours, in performing

above tasks completing A1 checks through to A4 checks, C1checks through to

C8 checks, 24, 48, 95, 96 months checks on aircraft.

*Willing to work on changing shifts according to various aircraft inputs and

customer requirements.
