Work experience [Feb 2006 – Present] Centurion Pipeline

Construction & Maintenance Team Leader

Responsible for the supervision, direction, implementation, planning, and design of Centurion Pipeline construction and maintenance projects.

Supervisory duties include: directing and mentoring multiple Construction & Maintenance Foremen along with Maintenance Team members (34), developing and overseeing the daily activities of the Construction & Maintenance Team.

Work closely with Centurion Operations personnel to coordinate construction, maintenance, and modifications for approximately 4,000 miles of active pipeline in West Texas, with nearly half of the mileage being either RRC or DOT regulated. Pipeline sizes range from 4.5” OD to 24” OD.

Company consultant for new tank construction and existing tank repair. Approximately 110 active storage tanks ranging in size from 10,000 bbl to 100,000 bbl, with several 160,000 bbl tanks in the planning phase.

Overseeing the repair of pipeline systems to correct anomalies found through In-line Inspections. Planning shutdowns, repairs, and return to service.

Manage the daily operations of the West Texas Water Supply System, an industrial utility providing water to customers through approximately 400 miles of active pipelines in west Texas. Oversee operations, construction and maintenance projects, budgeting, project development, and customer relations. Currently providing up 2,000,000 bbl of water monthly.

Responsible for meeting deadlines, controlling all Construction & Maintenance Team costs, creating project bid packages, using sound business judgment to implement new practices and procedures, developing and maintaining Team attitude and spirit, processing all invoices, approving payroll and expenses, and stressing “Safe” work practices.

Pipeline Construction Coordinator

Responsible for area wide planning and coordination of construction, maintenance, and repair activities for multiple Construction Specialists supporting Centurion Pipeline L.P.

Supervisory duties include: directing others, mentoring, and use of ethical and sound business practices, selecting and overseeing contractor work, and stressing a team attitude.

Managed projects, estimated costs, tracked and post appraised costs, ensured QA/QC, and ensured regulatory compliance. Provided project evaluation, risk assessment, and due diligence support Centurion Pipeline as part of the Technical Services group.

Maintained exemplary HES record stressing individual and group “Safe” work practices.

[1998 – 2004] Pipeline & Facilities Inspection, Inc.

Operations Manager

Operations manager of a family owned project management and Inspection Company.

Supervised 3rd party project management and inspection needs throughout North America for major oil companies. Provided project management support, inspection, risk assessment, and due diligence services.

Duties included: screening and hiring project managers and inspection personnel, project management, cost estimating and tracking, job planning and contractor coordination, implementing QA/QC programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Developed “Safe” work procedures, job scopes, and job specifications for all projects. This resulted in a “Zero” accident and injury rate.
