My many accomplishments & problem solving at Autographic;
I, along with engineering, redesigned the Autographic, Variable size sheeting machine to be manufactured more efficiently. I developed a frame system of aluminum with an interchangeable cutting head, resulting in a machine that was less expensive to manufacture and ship. I was responsible for re-designing a Vertical business re-folder to have a horizontal take away system. I was also responsible for compiling installation drawings to incorporate new equipment into existing machinery. The President, along with my help, successfully opened a business channel in Chile by designing & manufacturing their machine concept within 30 days. I helped create a design system that provided a more effective way of retrieving and updating designs, saving time and money. I negotiated price options that increased customer satisfaction. I helped develop an alliance with manufacturers and suppliers that expanded the customers design options and increased sales.
