WORK EXPERIENCE

Twenty one years of experience as project manager and coordinator for construction and maintenance in several projects at petrochemical, oil and gas, metallurgic, cement, glass and food Industries with a Construction Contractor named PRYASA in which also I was a shareholder working since 1994 as project manager. In addition I was a co-owner of “IRIS, LTD” a construction-maintenance refractory and insulation quality control company found in 2002 in Trinidad and Tobago appointed as Operations Manager and Director.

This is a list of some of the principal projects more relevant performed during my professional career.

1. As supervisor during the installation of acid proof lining and refractory bricks on reactor and ducts in Acetaldehyde Plant at “Complejo Morelos” PEMEX (Petroleos Mexicanos) In Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz in 1990.

2. As Project Manager for the installation of refractory castables RESCO PRODUCTS INC. on Riser, Separator, Regenerator Plenum Chamber, Stack, Orifice Chamber and Ducting in a Catalytic Plant at “Refineria Antonio Dovali Jaime” PEMEX in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca between 1992-1993.

3. As Project Manager for the supply and installation of all refractory castables from the manufacturer RESCO PRODUCTOS INC. and HARBISON WALKER including the application of quality control installation procedures approved by an American engineering firm KELLOGS on Riser, Regenerator Separator, Regenerator Plenum Chamber, Orifice Chamber and Ducting in a Catalytic Plant at “Refineria Miguel Hidalgo” PEMEX in Tula, Hidalgo in 1994.

4. As project manager for the installation of external insulation and metal jacketing stainless steel and aluminum with hot and cold insualtion on pipes of Ethylene glycol Plant at “ Industrias de Etileno” of PEMEX in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz in 1996.

5. As Project Manager for the installation of all refractory materials from RADEX a German firm into furnace to produce a 100 tons of silver and 2 tons of gold at “Metales Preciosos” Plant from MEXICANA DE COBRE in Nacozari Sonora, Mexico in 1997 and two annual general maintenance shutdowns.

6. As operations manager for the installation of high alumina bricks in high temperature furnace at NEGRO DE HUMO in Altamira, Tamaulipas Mexico.

7. As operations manager during the installation of all refractories for Riser and cyclones and dry out of all the refractory ducts of a Catalytic plant at Barranquilla, COLOMBIA, southamerica.

8. As operations Manager for the annual shutdown of Primary furnace that includes the removal and installation of all castables, gunite, and blanket at RASA refinery in SAN SALVADOR southamerica.

9. As operations Manager during the installation and dry out of several equipments as regenerator and plenum chamber subcontracted by CONSORCIO INDUSTRIAL MEXICO and supervise the installation of the equipments on site at Quito ECUADOR southamerica

10. As operation manager for a off shore work for the installation of external insulation based in metal jacketing and injection of insulation on oil submergible joint pipes under the sea on board of BOSS 355 and Vervillion Bay mobile Boats for the platform Cantarell (PEMEX) Project in Cd. Del Carmen, Campeche in 1998.

11. As operation manager during the installation of external insulation in Vessels, Tanks and all ducts for heat recovery, reformer and all pipes in racks for the Direct Reduction Plant at Caribbean Ispat Limited in Point Lisas Industrial Estate in Trinidad & Tobago in 1999.

12. To replace three layers of Blanket in all the reformer walls and roof to change 480 tubes with total base platform of scaffold all long the reformer (240 ft) on the Midrex Direct Reduction Plant during six days shutdown 2005 at Mittal Steel Lázaro Cardenas, Michoacan.

13. Mechanical works and installation of all the refractory materials for the re-locate and re-build a Midrex Direct Reduction Plant for Nu-iron in Point Lisas Industrial Estate Trinidad & Tobago in 2006.

14. As supervisor subcontracted by Midrex Technologies Inc. (Charlotte, North Carolina USA) the supervision of refractories for the 1 stage of a Direct Reduction Plant No. 2 for Acindar in Villa Constitucion Argentina in 2007 Southamerica.

15. From 2000 to present Maintenance of all the civil, mechanical, refractory and external insulation on the three Reduction Plants, lime stone and briquette plant as operation manager and coordinator at “ArcelorMittal” Point Lisas Ltd.” In Trinidad and Tobago participating in at least 30 Maintenance annual shutdowns.

16. Actually, as an operation manager and advisor with GMB Refractory Construction and Industrial Services Limited whom specialized in the installation of refractories in Cement, Aluminum and Steel plants and located at Trinidad and Tobago.
