- Project manager and Website consultant on projects related to the educational and sport sector: i.e. www.maxyourgame.com, www.aldeaeducativa.com, www.fvg.org. The first website was implemented based on the software development life cycle, from initiation to closing, and the coordination of video production.
- Information Systems Consultant to oil related service companies. This included Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies to transform the administrative processes. The process analysis, evaluation, monitoring and transformation made possible the shift of the company’s activities toward the core business processes.
- The Web development approach used was adapted as the software development standards of the company.

Project Manager 1/1996 – 2/2006, The Software Factory | Caracas
- Established and directed the consultant group of the company.
- Responsible for providing consultant services to oil related service companies and non-profit organizations. The first quarter of our consulting effort, saved $ 1MM in the “leaning” of the Human Resources process.
- Program manager of the #1 tax software V3.0, V4.0 and V5.0. This application was developed according to Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards. As a result of these releases, the company had a 15% increase of the market share, and a sales increment of 50% per year.
- Strategic Planning Advisor for the Episcopal conference in Venezuela. The 2000 – 2001 Strategic Plan had emphasis on self-financing to disengage from government financial dependency.
- Strategic Planning Advisor for the dioceses of San Carlos. In addition, courses on writing mission, vision, objectives, strategies, SWOT, process evaluation, and risk management were given to the participants.

Project Leader 01/1993– 11/1995, Maraven S.A. (Venezuelan oil company, formerly Shell) | Maracaibo
Successfully proposed and managed the well-drilling-process-automation $5MM project. It was executed from initiation to closing. The objective of the project was to automate the end-to-end oil drilling process and collect activities on real time. This project included infrastructure deployment, networking, telecommunication, software procurement, training, and process improvement. This project was then used as a model to be implemented in other oil subsidiaries. The assigned budget for the full implementation was $20MM.

Senior Artificial Intelligence System Analyst 11/1991 – 1/1993, Maraven S.A. (Venezuelan oil company, formerly Shell) | Caracas
- Responsible for establishing, searching, developing and providing AI technological solutions to the west drilling general division.
Member of the team that consolidated the AI group as the main IT provider for our clients.
- Developer of the system OMEGA which helped the process of the formulation of well completion and saved $1MM in his first year of use. The system was presented in the IX COLAPER event (Latin American Drilling Congress) and in the I informational PDVSA (oil industry company from Venezuela) seminar. The promotion of the drilling system OMEGA opened up the windows for expansion and growth to our organization.

- Responsible for searching, developing and providing state-of-the-art IT solutions to the organization.
- Development of the automatic oil logs scanning system, based on polynomial prediction, for the production oil department, which helped transformed paper to digital log format for further analysis.

Database Administrator 4/1988 – 10/1989, Maraven S.A. | Caracas
- Responsible for the administration of database projects.
Analyst and designer of the main databases of the organization.
- Responsible for the data migration of the Material and Inventory Management System. This was accomplished with savings around $10M. The procedure defined was accepted as the official data migration schema for other projects.
- Set the database backup and recovery processes and the administration of distributed data and replication.

- Responsible for the maintenance of the account receivable and account payable systems, and for the development of the inventory project.

- Programming the inventory module with no plan deviation.
- Introduction of a new technology for report generation that increased the productivity of the team by 50%.
