GENERAL TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Use of technical manuals and industry texts such as: structural repair manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations, maintenance manuals, advisory circular 43.13 1-b, designated engineering reports, blueprints, schematics, etc.

• Metal experience includes working with hot/cold saw, automated plasma cutter, robotic arm welder, punch press, drill press, Bridgeport milling machine, various handheld grinders, pipe/tube bender, stainless steel polishing, and some TIG welding.
POWERPLANT
• Through formal training, performed supervised inspection, repair, installation and troubleshooting on turbine, turbo-shaft, reciprocating engines, and systems therein including:
o Induction, Exhaust, Fuel, Ignition, Electrical, Communication/Navigation, Ice and Rain, Instruments and APU
• Removal and disassembly of defective parts; assembly and installation of replacement parts; and testing aircraft system
AIRFRAME
• Training in fabrication of airfoils (sheet metal and composite), from blue print drawings and repairing damage on wing sections
• Experience with seat assembly and internal upholstery
• Knowledge of Hydraulic / Pneumatic systems, Instrumentation, Communication / Navigation Systems, Fire protection, Flight Controls, Landing Gear, Cabin Pressurization and Oxygen, Electrical Systems, and APU systems
• Supervised repair of skin or structure of aircraft according to specifications using pneumatics hand tools, torch welding, and composite repairs
