EXPERIENCE:
Fall Co-op, Fundamental Reseach Department (Artificial Intelligence), Toyota Technical Center
Aug 2011 – Dec 2011
Worked with the AI group at Toyota Technical Center on Vehicle Routing Problem with stochastic
demands.
Presented a solution based on Iterative Tabu Search algorithm which achieves near exact solution to the
problem with increased computational efficiency..
Graduate Student Research Assistant, Strategic Reasoning Group, AI Group ,CSE Dept.
May 2011 – Dec 2011
Worked on Introduction Based Routing.
The project aims to develop a new protocol instead of the Internet Protocol(IP) which in use now
My role involves using Artificial Intelligence and Game Theory to Strategically analyze the payoffs of
the nodes in a network by playing different strategies.
PROJECTS and RESEARCH
Worked on designing a break resistant CAPTCHA.
The project is about designing a CAPTCHA which cannot be broken by the different combinations of
State of Art Machine Learning techniques already available.
Designed a breaking algorithm robuster than previously available techniques and explored new
CAPTCHA design techniques.
Worked on Semantic Structure from motion at Computer Vision Lab, EECS Dept.
The project is about developing a novel joint probability model to formulate camera pose estimation and object detection.
The project aims at estimating camera poses only from object detections, enhance camera pose
estimation by object detection, compared to feature point based structure from motion algorithm.
Developed a Line Maze Solving Robot which is an autonomous navigator as part of the final year
undergraduate project( Student Lead for the project)
Designed a novel shortest path algorithm to solve a maze.
Implemented the algorithm in real time Robotic motion after having made a Robot which can sense the
environment and move in the proper path in the first trial.
Achieved great results in terms of time difference obtained with and without shortest path
implementation.
Internship with Technophilia Robotics Solutions, India in June 2009 where I worked on Speech Recognition
Robots and real time Alterable rotating LED display.
Presented a paper on Automation of Unmanned level Crossing at National Level Technical Symposium
“Samavarthan-2k8” and won the best student paper award.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Related Software: MATLAB, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft Office.
