• Responsible to analyze, troubleshoot and correct mechanical failures and inefficient operations of devices and equipment in a 1.2 million square foot manufacturing facility to include packaging and processing operations.

o Complete knowledge and understanding of basic machine assembly, power transmission, and actuating devices used to perform the examining of parts for defects, such as breakage and excessive wear.
o Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and related equipment in order to observe in operation and listen to their sounds in order to locate causes of trouble.
o Dismantled devices to gain proper access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools to accurately estimate time required to make temporary repairs versus permanent repairs.

o In addition to successfully filling the roles of machinist, HVAC Tech, and Pipefitter when needed the most difficult tasks of current trade was assigned on a routine basis. As an example the successful installation and aligning of a gear box on a M3 cooling tower was completed.
