1 off 2 projects (Aker Solutions) First Project. H-6E Barents most Advanced

Drilling rig in the world. I was involved in rigging pipes, steel stairs all water tight doors, and on the main drill deck putting

drill head in to place (28tons).

Second Project. At the Aker Solutions Yard, for Statoil-Hydro in Stord Norway, I am involved in the construction of the GJOA EPCH semi submersible production gas processing rig. Duties include rigging/slinging and crane signaling as well as the installation of various items including valves large and small bore pipe work and equipment up to (5tons) in weight, over that weight and we need lift plans. I have been Working on some big sea,fire,water submerged pumps all different size’s and the largest ever made and in total (43mts long) and (19tons) for a company called Framo Frank Mohn Services. Worked in confined spaces and under stand the use of a work permit , some barge work and using winches and different snatch blocks. Working at height’s, from man baskets and Cherry Pickers. I also ensure safety requirements are met at all times by observing good housekeeping rules.

Elements Chrome Rigger

I worked here when on leave from Norway. Duties included preparing the plant for shut down, changing sludge tank valves and prop shafts and general rigging duties.

2003-2008 Glamal Engineering (part of oil and gas industry)

Duties included use of different forklifts, loading and unloading wagons for shipping, dealing with customers and being on call. Picking and packing of stock for various projects, colour coding, accuracy, packed correctly, time schedules. And ensuring that all stock is checked for faults e.g. flanges and fittings. All stock to be colour coded and marked correct and accurate.

2003-2004 NCS (ON RAILWAYS)

Duties included taking out and replacing old railway lines and general maintenance of railway lines. Working away from home around. Main duty was grinding the line and stretching it.

2002-2003 Samsung electronics

Duties included working on a production line, making PC’s and microwaves. Responsible for installing parts correctly.

2002-2002 Newy and Eyre Electrics

Duties included checking of stock, maintenance of warehouse, driving of forklift, dealing with customers and trade, stocktaking and general warehouse duties.
