WORK EXPERIENCE:

12/08 to present Bilingual Family and Individual Therapist, Advent Group Ministries, San Jose, CA. Function as a therapist for an intensive outpatient adolescent dual diagnosis program and for a residential dual diagnosis program for teenagers. Working under the supervision of the Program Director, I was in charge of a fifteen-bed facility, the clients’ safety and the supervision of other employees who worked during my shift. Determined appropriate intake referrals for residential crisis admission. Conducted thorough intake assessments, developed and executed individualized crisis treatment plans. Evaluated clients daily for risk of suicide or homicide. Lead and participated in family meetings and discharge conferences.
