EDUCATION
Boston University, College of Engineering May 2007
B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering Boston, MA
Projects
Senior Capstone Project - Sun Tracking System for Sun Ovens.
Worked in a team designing a system that automatically adjusts box sun ovens to follow the sun. Determined customer and engineering requirements, performed feasibility analyses, created technical reports, detailed CAD designs, and fabricated final product in machine shop.
Measurement and Analysis of Drum Membrane Response.
Designed an experiment to observe and model a drum membrane response as a second order system. Created laboratory procedure, analyzed data, presented findings.
Aluminum Alloys in Aerospace Applications.
Worked in a team testing material properties of various aluminum alloys suited for aerospace applications. Researched options, tested materials, analyzed data, and presented results.
Bridge Building.
Designed and built a straw truss and led team in calculating structure strength. Calculations of critical member, maximum load, and manufacture proved successful during testing.
